How to embed my own HTML5 flash video player in facebook wall post

What you need?

  •     A sample video which you want to post on Facebook. I have used sample.mp4 in this tutorial.
  •    JW5 player.swf
  •     A Facebook open graph Meta data url location https://www.example.com/live/
  •     A config.xml

Create a folder “livetour” and add each one above one by one.

Create   live url add your metadata to this file as mentioned below , only you have change the URL according to your host. in the head section of your page.

Create config.xml file and then add following code and put the file the your folder “livetour”

 

Add the “player.swf” to your webroot folder of your application.

Add “livetour” folder to your webroot folder. livetour folder will have following files

config.xml

logo-fb.jpg

sample.mp4

Now every things is setup. Access the following urls:

To post video of Facebook (Note: use https:// always to access the video on the FB)
